DREAMING TOGETHER

Intentions

One of Pope Francis' favorite devotions is to St. Joseph asleep, he says:

"I like it very much St. Joseph, He is a strong man of silence. On my desk I have a picture of St. Joseph Even when he sleeps, he takes care of the Church. Yes! We know he can do that. [...] So, when I have a problem, a difficulty, I write a little note and put it under St. Joseph so that I can to dream about it. In other words, I tell him: Pray about this problem!"

- Pope Francis, January 16, 2015.

write your Intentions

On each of our pilgrimages we are accompanied by the sleeping St. Joseph, carried by the pilgrims along the 20km journey. If you want your intention to be entrusted to him during the pilgrimage, write it here.

"The Scriptures rarely speak of St. Joseph, but when they do, they often find him resting, while an Angel reveals God's will to him in a dream" (Pope Francis). Why did God speak to St. Joseph while he slept? We don't know, but what we do know is that "according to the New Testament, St. Joseph's sleep is prayer" (Calloway, 2019) and it is precisely in prayer that we can hear God's voice and understand what His will is for our lives."
